Cooperative Honors Educators as Part of Teacher Appreciation Week
(JOHNSON CITY, Texas) May 19, 2025 — Just in time for Teacher Appreciation Week, Pedernales Electric Cooperative is recognizing educators across the co-op’s service area for going above and beyond, and for making a difference in their students’ lives. PEC announced its Teacher Spotlight Award winners this week and delivered gift baskets filled with “wish list” items and learning materials to support classroom learning. PEC staff presented the baskets as a “thank you” to the teachers for their dedication to their students and the community.
“One of the neatest things we get to do as a Cooperative is to come together and support our teachers who are helping to improve the future of our communities,” said Kevyn Packer, PEC Community Outreach Specialist. “We couldn’t be more excited to surprise them and show how grateful we are for their hard work and dedication.”
